Park Slope

Park Slope is a neighborhood in Brooklyn (part of Brooklyn Community Board 6) bordering Prospect Park, Prospect Heights, Fort Greene, Gowanus, South Slope and Windsor Terrace.

The neighborhood that rekindled interest in "Brownstone Brooklyn," Park Slope was one of the City's earliest revitalization successes. Falling from grace as one of the most desirable locations in the country in the late 19th century, the neighborhood rose again in the late 20th century thanks to early preservation, becoming an ideal of urban living in Brooklyn and elsewhere. With thriving economic districts catering to families and younger residents, towering brownstone and limestone townhouses, and access to four different subway lines, Park Slope is a highly attractive area for many residents and business owners looking to set up shop in Brooklyn.
